Former Wales manager Chris Coleman has been named the new head coach of Chinese Super League side Hebei China Fortune, the club announced on Sunday.
Coleman replaces Manuel Pellegrini, who left Hebei after two years in charge last month by mutual consent to take over at West Ham United following David Moyes' departure.
The 48-year-old, who led Wales to the quarterfinals of Euro 2016 before overseeing Sunderland's relegation to League One last season, takes over a side that has been inconsistent so far this season.
Hebei are in eighth in the table, eight points adrift of leaders Shanghai SIPG after 11 games, and will face Dalian Yifang when the Chinese Super League resumes from its two-month break for the World Cup.
