Russia World Cup star Denis Cheryshev will join Valencia on loan from Villarreal for the 2018-19 season.
Valencia released a statement on Tuesday confirming that a deal had been agreed for the winger.
Cheryshev, 27, scored four goals to help Russia to the quarterfinals of the World Cup this summer.
He began his career at Real Madrid in 2002, playing over 100 times for the B team, but rarely made a first-team appearance and joined Sevilla and Villarreal on loan before signing permanently for the club in 2016.
