Norwich have confirmed the signing of Stoke striker Cameron Jerome, who has signed a three-year deal at Carrow Road.
The transfer of the 28-year-old, who spent last season on loan at Crystal Palace, is thought to be worth around one and a half million pounds.
He becomes the third striker to be recruited by manager Neil Adams, who has already brought Lewis Grabban and Kyle Lafferty to the Norfolk club.
Adams told the Canaries' official website: "Cameron brings power and pace to our attacking options.
"He's someone I've been looking at for a long while, and I'm delighted he became available to us. He gives us that brute strength as well as power, but he's got much more than that.
"He works really hard for the team and gives us that strength in depth that we'll need over a tough season."
Jerome said: "Once I spoke with the manager and a few other people here, it was a no-brainer. The ambition of the club matches my ambition as a player, and I'm looking forward to getting stuck into training and hopefully being involved at the weekend."
Norwich, who travel to neighbours Ipswich on Saturday for the first East Anglian derby of the season, signed former Sunderland defender Carlos Cuellar on a one-year deal earlier on Wednesday.
Adams said the 32-year-old, who left Sunderland in June after six years playing in the Premier League, "brings bags of experience as he's played at the highest level in three countries."
The manager added: "He can play as a centre-back and a right-back and we've brought him here to strengthen the options we have in defence. He's a top quality player, so we welcome him into the squad and it will be great to have him available."
