We've updated the ESPN player rankings following Hoop Hall, and now it's time to learn more about the prospects who hold the coveted No. 1 spots in each class. As a reminder, our rankings consider the following:
1. A prospect's long-term potential to reach the NBA
2. His projected impact at the collegiate level
3. The quality of his performances and production to date
Here are our current best and brightest across the three classes:
James Wiseman, No. 1 in 2019 class (7-foot, 230 lbs., East/Memphis, Tennessee ... committed to Memphis)
Wiseman, who has held the top spot since last year, has NBA-type physical measurables. He has a 7-foot-6 wingspan to go with a 9-foot-4 standing reach. Those physical traits make him the standout in the class.
