The official list of who's in and who's out of the 2013 NBA draft is finally in. Seven players from our last Big Board (April 19) -- Marcus Smart, Gary Harris, Glenn Robinson III, Mitch McGary, Isaiah Austin, James Michael McAdoo and Adriean Payne -- decided to return to college for another season.
Those draft defections -- combined with a great international scouting event, the Nike Hoop Summit, more film watching, and further feedback from NBA GMs and scouts -- had a big impact on our Big Board.
While Nerlens Noel continues to hold the No. 1 spot, followed by Ben McLemore and Otto Porter Jr., Trey Burke cracks the top five (at No. 5) and C.J. McCollum breaks into the top 10 (at No. 8).
Here's our latest take on the Top 30 prospects in the draft. (Also, be sure to check out our updated Top 100 and our updated Lottery Mock Draft.)
1
Nerlens Noel
SCHOOL: Kentucky
CLASS: Fr.
HT/WT: 6-11, 215
POS: C
10.5 PPG
9.5 RPG
4.4 BPG
Noel continues to look like the odds-on favorite to be the No. 1 pick. Looking at our various Lottery Mock Draft scenarios, Noel now comes out as the No. 1 pick in 84.8 percent of the scenarios generated. We project Noel to go No. 1 to the Magic, Bobcats, Cavaliers, Suns, Kings, Wizards, Raptors, 76ers and Mavericks. Those are pretty great odds.
