Indianapolis Colts 2024 NFL draft picks: Full list by round

The Indianapolis Colts own seven picks in the 2024 NFL draft, one in each round beginning with No. 15 overall. For the first time since Andrew Luck retired in 2019, the Colts won't be looking for a quarterback early after taking Anthony Richardson at No. 4 last year.

The Colts more than doubled their win total from 2022 (4-12-1) last year (9-8) and missed out on the playoffs with a loss to the Houston Texans on the final weekend. Richardson played just four games and suffered a season-ending right shoulder injury.

The 2024 NFL draft will take place at Campus Martius Park and Hart Plaza in Detroit from April 25 through April 27. Round 1 will begin April 25 at 8 p.m. ET, while Rounds 2 and 3 are on April 26 starting at 7 p.m. ET. Rounds 4 through 7 begin at noon ET on April 27. The draft will be broadcast on ESPN, ABC, ESPN+ and the ESPN App. There are 257 total picks in the draft.

Here's the full list of the Colts' draft picks by round, along with a look at their top roster needs headed into the 2024 season.

Top three needs: CB, S, WR. The Colts finished last season with one of the youngest secondaries in the league, and it showed. In the final four weeks, the Colts' defense ranked 30th in opposing QB completion percentage (68.9%). Coverage busts at safety also contributed to the team's season-ending loss to the Texans, which eliminated Indianapolis from the playoffs.

At receiver, the Colts have a solid foundation with Michael Pittman Jr., Josh Downs and Alec Pierce. Ashton Dulin also returns from injury. But a young game-breaker could push this group into a higher tier. -- Stephen Holder
