New York Giants kicker Josh Brown was cited last summer for violation of a protection order that was issued following his arrest on a domestic violence charge.
Under the protection order, Brown was not allowed within 500 feet of his ex-wife's residence.
Molly Brown called police when she claimed to see Josh Brown driving by her house as she was leaving. The incident occurred on July 14, 2015.
Brown had been arrested on May 22, 2015, and charged with assault fourth degree/domestic violence. The charges were later dropped.
The NFL recently suspended Brown one game of violation of the league's conduct policy. Giants owner John Mara said the team was aware of the arrest and that the organization "was comfortable with our decision to re-sign" Brown this offseason.
