KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Kansas City Chiefs linebacker Kevin Pierre-Louis was arrested in Johnson County, Kansas, on Thursday on misdemeanor counts of possession of a controlled substance, first marijuana possession, having no driver's license, possession of drug paraphernalia and no display of a numbered license plate.
Bond was set for Pierre-Louis at $2,500 but had not been posted, according to an official with the Johnson County sheriff's office.
The Chiefs had no immediate comment.
Pierre-Louis, 26, played in 13 regular-season games for the Chiefs, plus their playoff loss to the Tennessee Titans, all as a backup. The Chiefs acquired Pierre-Louis last summer from the Seattle Seahawks, where he had played his first three NFL seasons.
