Julio Jones: Ridiculous.

Deshaun Watson's football life included serving as a Falcons ball boy as a youngster, so Sunday's game is a reunion of sorts:

J.J. Watt gets this fan's ninth birthday started off right:

Injuries:

Damontae Kazee, CB, Falcons. Kazee left the game and will be evaluated for a head injury. We'll see if that keeps him out of action next week at Arizona. The injury to Kazee allowed rookie Kendall Sheffield to get more reps at the nickel position, and coach Dan Quinn said Sheffield is ready to step into a defensive role after slowly being worked into the lineup. Sheffield, who has handled kickoff returns with Kenjon Barner (knee) sidelined, might be the most explosive athlete on the team. At some point, he should evolve into a starter. He's that talented and has blazing speed. -- Vaughn McClure

Panthers 34, Jaguars 27

Jaguars inactives: WR C.J. Board, RB Tyler Ervin, DE Lerentee McCray, TE Josh Oliver, CB Jalen Ramsey, DT Dontavius Russell, OG Brandon Thomas

Panthers inactives: OG Caleb Benenoch, DE Bryan Cox, CB Donte Jackson, OT Greg Little, TE Chris Manhertz, QB Cam Newton, OG Trai Turner

Highlights:

Reggie Bonnafon -- no, we didn't have him in our fantasy lineups either -- takes the rock 59 yards for a late score:

Jags not giving up yet, as Leonard Fournette gets his first TD of the day:

Whatever the Jaguars are doing to try to limit Christian McCaffrey, they might need to make an adjustment. He goes 84 yards for TD No. 3:

We've got a shootout in Charlotte. Gardner Minshew II to DJ Chark for another touchdown:

Rookie pass-rusher Brian Burns gets a chance to show off the wheels, grabbing a Gardner Minshew II fumble and racing 55 yards to the house:

The Jags strike back quickly, as Gardner Minshew II finds DJ Chark for the long score:

Christian McCaffrey opens the scoring with some acrobatics into the end zone:

Since everyone can't get enough Gardner Minshew Mania: Per Fanatics, Minshew's No. 15 jersey has been in the top 10 in sales since his first victory as a starter on Sept. 19. It has been the fifth best-selling jersey since Sept. 29 and is the top-selling Jaguars jersey online and at the Jaguars store at TIAA Bank Field.

Michael DiRocco, ESPN Staff Writer5y ago

Panthers quarterback Kyle Allen won't win a fashion show against Cam.Newton but on the field he has won all three of his starts. A win today against Jacksonville would make him the first undrafted QB to start 4-0 since Kurt Warner in 1999.

David Newton, ESPN Staff Writer5y ago

Injuries:

James O'Shaugnessy, TE, Jaguars. O'Shaughnessy left the locker room on crutches and had his left knee wrapped and in a brace, so this appears to be a serious injury that might keep him out for an extended period of time. That isn't a position that could afford an injury. O'Shaughnessy was the Jaguars' top tight end (14 catches for 154 yards this season, including two touchdowns), and rookie third-round pick Josh Oliver has yet to play because of a hamstring injury he suffered during training camp. Oliver returned to practice last week, and O'Shaughnessy's injury might speed up the timetable for his return. -- Michael DiRocco

Patriots 33, Redskins 7

Patriots inactives: RB Damien Harris, OT Korey Cunningham, QB Cody Kessler, DT Byron Cowart, RB Rex Burkhead, S Nate Ebner, S Patrick Chung

Redskins inactives: QB Case Keenum, OG Brandon Scherff, TE Vernon Davis, TE Jordan Reed, C Ross Pierschbacher, CB Aaron Colvin, LB Josh Harvey-Clemons

Highlights:

The Redskins leave Ryan Izzo wide open, and Tom Brady finds him to put the Pats ahead by an additional score:

Patriots not taking any chances, get Sony Michel in for a TD to extend the lead:

Tom Brady finds Brandon Bolden streaking toward the end zone, and the RB does the rest:

We've seen this combo just a few times before: Tom Brady to Julian Edelman to tie things up:

This guy's fast. Steven Sims takes it 65 yards down the sideline to put the Redskins on the board first:

Sportsbook PointsBet took a $20,000 two-team money-line parlay on the Patriots and Eagles. The Patriots and Eagles are double-digit favorites over the Redskins and Jets respectively. If New England and Philadelphis win outright, the bettor would win a net $4,800.

David Purdum, ESPN Staff Writer5y ago

It's another defensive TD for the Eagles, as Orlando Scandrick snatches the ball from Luke Falk and runs it in:

Jets with a little trickery to get on the board. Vyncint Smith reverses the field all the way to the house:

Eagles not taking any chances, keeping the pedal to the floor with a Zach Ertz TD catch toward the end of the first half to go up 21-0:

Nathan Gerry with a pick-six for the Eagles:

Jordan Howard finishes the drive with authority, plunging in for six:

Sam Darnold isn't quite ready to start for the Jets, but he had time for a reunion at midfield with Ivan Drago. Wait, we're being told that's Josh McCown. That makes more sense!

Angels center fielder Mike Trout is ready for Sunday:

Breaking news from the tailgate nuptials beat:

Injuries:

Henry Anderson, DE, Jets. Anderson injured his shoulder early in the game and didn't return. He will have an MRI on Monday to determine the severity of the injury. If the Jets lose him for a significant period, it will mean more action for rookie Quinnen Williams. -- Rich Cimini

Darren Sproles, RB, Eagles. Sproles exited in the third quarter with a quad injury and did not return. Shortly after moving into fifth place in all-purpose yards, the 36-year old Sproles limped off the field and to the trainers' table before heading inside. If he misses any time, the Eagles will be operating without their primary punt returner. Nelson Agholor and Corey Clement shared those duties in his absence, with Clement losing a fumble. -- Tim McManus

Cardinals 26, Bengals 23

Cardinals inactives: DE Zach Allen, WR Damiere Byrd, LB Dennis Gardeck, WR Christian Kirk, OL Brett Toth, LB Zeke Turner, DB Charles Washington

Bengals inactives: DE Kerry Wynn, DT Renell Wren, CB Greg Mabin, HB Trayveon Williams, OT Cordy Glenn, WR A.J. Green, QB Jake Dolegala

Highlights:

The Bengals tie it up! Andy Dalton finds a streaking Tyler Boyd for a 42-yard score:

This one isn't over yet! Andy Dalton finds Auden Tate for a late score:

Chase Edmonds gets a toss from Kyler Murray and races 37 yards around the left side for a late TD:

Kyler Murray enjoyed running it in for a score so much last week that he's back at it again today:

Injuries:

Andre Smith, OT, Bengals. The Bengals might be down to their fourth-string left tackle after Smith was knocked out of Sunday's 26-23 loss to the Cardinals with a left ankle injury. Smith was placed in a protective boot after the game, and his long-term outlook is unknown. If Smith is unavailable for next week's game against Baltimore, and Cordy Glenn remains out with a concussion, John Jerry will be asked to play the position. Jerry, who was in the mix at left guard in the preseason before rookie Michael Jordan won the starting job, finished Sunday's game at left tackle. -- Ben Baby

Saints 31, Buccaneers 24

Buccaneers inactives: OG Zack Bailey, LB Jack Cichy, CB Jamel Dean, OT Jerald Hawkins, TE Tanner Hudson, DL Patrick O'Connor, WR Breshad Perriman

Saints inactives: QB Drew Brees, CB Ken Crawley, S Saquan Hampton, OG Nick Easton, OL Ethan Greenidge, WR Lil'Jordan Humphrey, DE Trey Hendrickson

Highlights:

Yet another TD pass for Teddy Bridgewater! His second of the day to Michael Thomas:

Well, this was a fun little play: Alvin Kamara throws for a first down:

Bucs keeping it close, as Peyton Barber charges in for six:

Teddy Bridgewater cannot be stopped. He tosses TD No. 3, this time to Ted Ginn Jr.:

Jared Cook was apparently OK after taking a helmet-to-helmet hit earlier in the game, and he hauls in a Teddy Bridgewater throw to put the Saints ahead:

Bucs starting left cornerback Carlton Davis has been ejected for launching at Jared Cook with the crown of his helmet. He'll be replaced by rookie Sean Murphy-Bunting. Huge break for the Saints.

Jenna Laine, ESPN Staff Writer5y ago

We've got a game, folks. Teddy Bridgewater deals it to Michael Thomas, who does the rest:

Chris Godwin keeps the good times rolling with a beautiful catch-and-run to put the Bucs ahead:

This seems loud:

Who knew that 1980s Janet Jackson would be setting the tone for Bucs quarterback Jameis Winston as he prepares to face the Saints...

Jenna Laine, ESPN Staff Writer5y ago

It's an NFC South clash in New Orleans today, and the Bucs have produced a hype video for the festivities:

Injuries:

Tre'Quan Smith, WR, Saints. The Saints' second-year backup returned to the lineup Sunday after missing the previous two weeks because of an ankle injury. But he left the game early with what was announced as an ankle injury again. His status will remain uncertain for next week at Jacksonville until we see our first injury report Wednesday. -- Mike Triplett

Demar Dotson, OT, Buccaneers. Starting right tackle Dotson suffered a hamstring injury and did not return. Depth at offensive tackle has been a concern for the Bucs dating to the offseason. Dotson will be 34 this week, and the organization knows he's near the end of his career. Josh Wells stepped in for him and surrendered a sack in the fourth quarter. -- Jenna Laine

Vikings 28, Giants 10

Vikings inactives: WR Davion Davis, CB Mackensie Alexander, LB Kentrell Brothers, DT Hercules Mata'afa, C Brett Jones, OT Oli Udoh, DT Armon Watts

Giants inactives: RB Saquon Barkley, LB Alec Ogletree, LB Lorenzo Carter, QB Alex Tanney, OG Chad Slade, LB Tae Davis, OT Eric Smith

Adam Thielen is back into the end zone to extend the Vikings' lead:

That's two points for a Vikings safety at MetLife Stadium!

Daniel Jones drops a dime to Darius Slayton, who hauls it in for a long TD:

Kirk Cousins makes it look easy, finding Adam Thielen for a 15-yard TD:

Injuries:

Wayne Gallman, RB, Giants. Gallman suffered a concussion in the first quarter and did not return. That almost certainly will keep him out of next week's game against the Patriots, considering the Giants are on a short week playing Thursday in New England. The hope, however, is that Saquon Barkley returns. Otherwise, it will be Jon Hilliman and Elijhaa Penny taking the majority of the snaps, as they did Sunday afternoon. -- Jordan Raanan

Fashion:

Golden Tate is back in action following a four-game suspension, and he's doing it in style, with these LeBron James-Dwyane Wade tribute cleats:

Meanwhile, Adam Thielen is repping the local baseball team on his cleats today:

Ravens 26, Steelers 23 (OT)

Ravens inactives: LB Kenny Young, CB Anthony Averett, DT Daylon Mack, CB Jimmy Smith, G Ben Powers, WR Jaleel Scott, QB Trace McSorley

Steelers inactives: DE Isaiah Buggs, FB Roosevelt Nix, LB Anthony Chickillo, OL Fred Johnson, OL Chukwuma Okorafor, TE Zach Gentry, WR Donte Moncrief

Mark Andrews hurdle alert:

After a quiet couple of weeks, Marquise Brown is back in the end zone:

JuJu Smith-Schuster gets loose in the secondary and battles his way in for a long touchdown:

Mark Ingram II gets the Ravens on the board first against Pittsburgh:

A bettor at the FanDuel sportsbook at the Meadowlands in New Jersey has a big parlay going today: $40,000 three-teamer on the Ravens money-line (-176), Cowboys money-line (-176) and Chargers money-line (-250). The bet would pay $137,714.

David Purdum, ESPN Staff Writer5y ago

Injuries:

Mason Rudolph, QB, Steelers. A concussion ended Rudolph's day midway through the third quarter. He went down immediately after being hit in the chin by Ravens safety Earl Thomas, and he had to be helped off the field by two of his linemen. With Rudolph out, backup quarterback Devlin Hodges became the first-string quarterback. The timetable for Rudolph's return is unknown, but he won't be able to do so until he clears concussion protocol. In addition to Hodges on the 53-man roster, the Steelers have two quarterbacks on the practice squad in former first-round pick Paxton Lynch and newly signed South Dakota State product Taryn Christion. -- Brooke Pryor

James Washington, WR, Steelers. Washington exited the game with a shoulder injury in the third quarter. He caught a 26-yard pass from Rudolph on the play on which the QB was injured before coming back in and attempting to catch two short passes from backup quarterback Devlin Hodges. Mike Tomlin diagnosed Washington's condition as an AC shoulder injury. Washington was more involved in Sunday's game plan, with six targets prior to his injury. He finished with three catches for 52 yards. If he's unable to play, his playing time will likely go to either veteran Donte Moncrief, who was inactive Sunday, or Ryan Switzer. -- Brooke Pryor

The hit that knocked out Steelers quarterback Mason Rudolph was called properly on the field as roughing the passer on Ravens safety Earl Thomas. The real question is whether Thomas should have been ejected. In this case, two of the keys that officials look for -- a defender lowering his head and/or "lining up" the quarterback -- didn't occur. It's worth noting that NFL senior vice president of officiating Al Riveron had the authority to eject Thomas from the Command Center in NYC, but declined.

The Bears' comeback continues, as Chase Daniel finds Allen Robinson to pull Chicago within a score:

The Bears came out ready to play in the second half, and David Montgomery gets them on the board:

Raiders pouring it on in London. DeAndre Washington hits pay dirt:

Josh Jacobs on the board for a score early with a 12-yard TD rush:

More money has been bet on the Bears-Raiders game than has been bet on any other of today's NFL games at William Hill sportsbooks around the nation. The Bears are 6-point favorites and have attracted 76% of the point-spread money. Caesars Sportsbook is reporting 93% of the money wagered on the game at its sportsbooks in Indiana is on the Bears.

David Purdum, ESPN Staff Writer5y ago

Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner) is on site in London rooting for the Bears and wearing an Anthony Miller jersey:

Injuries:

Akiem Hicks, DT, Bears. Hicks left Sunday's loss to the Raiders with what appeared to be a dislocated left elbow. The Bears said Hicks was questionable to return after he sustained the injury, but he never did. The Bears will wait until they return to Chicago to further evaluate the injury, but the team is on bye next week, which is favorable news for Hicks, who missed Week 4 with a knee injury. -- Jeff Dickerson

Josh Jacobs, RB, Raiders. The rookie phenom left the game in the first quarter with an elbow injury and was officially questionable to return. The only question, though, was whether he would steal the game's thunder from Khalil Mack. Jacobs returned, with DeAndre Washington and Jalen Richard spelling him, ran for a career-high 123 yards and scored a pair of touchdowns, including the winner over the top of the pile, Marcus Allen-style. "He proved a lot tonight," Raiders coach Jon Gruden said. "He made some great runs." Jacobs will have an extra week to rest his elbow as the 3-2 Raiders enter their bye. -- Paul Gutierrez

Bills 14, Titans 7

Bills inactives: RB Devin Singletary, WR Robert Foster, TE Tyler Kroft, RT Ty Nsekhe, G Ike Boettger, LB Corey Thompson, CB Taron Johnson

Titans inactives: G/T Kevin Pamphile, G Aaron Stinnie, C Hroniss Grasu, DE Brent Urban, CB Tye Smith, OL David Quessenberry, LB Cameron Wake

Sometimes a hurdle works out great. Sometimes, this happens:

It has been a defensive struggle in Nashville today, but Josh Allen finds a wide-open Lee Smith in the end zone to get some points on the board with just over two minutes left in the first half:

The #BillsMafia travels well:

Injuries:

Cody Ford, OT, Bills. Ford left the game in the second half with a head injury and did not return, likely paving the way for a bye week in concussion protocol. It's difficult to rank the Bills' injuries to four starters, but when Ford's injury is coupled with the fact that backup Ty Nsekhe missed the game because of an ankle injury, suddenly the right side of the Bills' offensive line is an area of concern. Luckily, they'll get a bye in Week 6 to recover, followed by a game against the hapless Dolphins in Week 7. -- Marcel Louis-Jacques

Packers 34, Cowboys 24

Packers inactives: WR Davante Adams, DB Tony Brown, OG Cole Madison, OG Adam Pankey, RB Dexter Williams, RB Jamaal Williams, LB Tim Williams

Cowboys inactives: LB Luke Gifford, DE Joe Jackson, C Adam Redmond, WR Devin Smith, OT Tyron Smith, WR Ced Wilson, DT Antwaun Woods

The Cowboys are down pretty big, but Ezekiel Elliott wants to get in on the fun. He plunges in on a goal-line carry to pull Dallas a bit closer:

Not sure if the Cowboys will come all the way back to win this one, but they're still trying. Dak Prescott launches one for Michael Gallup, who battles his way in:

Well, for those of you who didn't have Christian McCaffrey in your fantasy lineup ... maybe you had Aaron Jones? Here's TD No. 4:

Guess who? It's another TD rush for Aaron Jones:

Another Packers possession, another Aaron Jones rushing TD:

After the Packers marched it down the field, Aaron Jones puts them up a score with an 18-yard TD rush:

Dak Prescott's pass doinks off the hands of Amari Cooper into the hands of Packers CB Jaire Alexander:

Broncos 20, Chargers 13

Broncos inactives: OT Calvin Anderson, CB Bryce Callahan, TE Troy Fumagalli, DE Adam Gotsis, OT Ja'Wuan James, ILB Josey Jewell, WR Juwann Winfree

Chargers inactives: DB Nasir Adderley, K Mike Badgley, DT Cortez Broughton, TE Hunter Henry, DE Melvin Ingram, RB Justin Jackson, QB Easton Stick

Joe Flacco gets it to Courtland Sutton, who eludes two Chargers defenders en route to a long touchdown:

Phillip Lindsay gets the Broncos' offense rolling quickly with an early TD rush:
