          NFL Week 11 in review: Highlights, injuries, analysis

          The Week 11 NFL slate included some huge performances. Lamar Jackson and the Ravens had a statement victory over Deshaun Watson and the Texans, while Jimmy Garoppolo led a comeback victory over the Cardinals and the Patriots held off the Eagles in the late window.

          Ravens 41, Texans 7

          Injuries:

          Lonnie Johnson Jr., CB, Texans. In his first game back from a concussion, Johnson left the game with a foot injury. He had to be helped off the field and was on crutches after the game. Houston was already without cornerback Bradley Roby, who has not played since he left the Texans' Week 6 game with a hamstring injury. -- Sarah Barshop

          As rough as life was for Drew Brees & Co. last week against Atlanta, the offense is humming along nicely against Tampa Bay. Here's TD No. 3 for Brees, this one to Ted Ginn Jr.:

          Jared Cook goes full extension to haul in this dime from Drew Brees, and the Saints are rolling:

          O.J. Howard isn't able to come down with the pass cleanly -- unsuccessfully trying for the behind-the-back catch -- and Demario Davis snatches it for the Saints:

          Injuries:

          Jameis Winston, QB, Buccaneers. Winston got rolled up on by a defender, and suffered a left ankle sprain on the medial side (inside). It impacted his ability to step into his throws as the game went on. "He probably should have come out of the game. He's probably too tough for his own good there," said coach Bruce Arians, adding that they'll know more tomorrow. "I'll be fine," said Winston, who was sacked twice and hit 12 times. -- Jenna Laine

          Josh Hill, TE, Saints. Hill left Sunday's game with a concussion, which leaves his status uncertain for the Saints' Week 12 game against Carolina. Hill is an unheralded veteran, but coach Sean Payton said he's so involved in so many parts of New Orleans' offense as both a blocker and route runner that he compared him to the "front door." -- Mike Triplett

          Colts 33, Jaguars 13

          Jaguars inactives: QB Josh Dobbs, WR C.J. Board, RB Tyler Ervin, CB Tae Hayes, OL Brandon Thomas, TE Seth DeValve, DT Dontavius Russell

          Colts inactives: WR Parris Campbell, OL Le'Raven Clark, CB Pierre Desir, WR T.Y. Hilton, QB Chad Kelly, RB Jordan Wilkins, CB Quincy Wilson

          Highlights:

          Things haven't gone the Jaguars' way in this game, but the Nick Foles-DJ Chark Jr.connection appears strong. Here's their second TD:

          After not seeing anyone open -- but definitely seeing some open running room -- Jacoby Brissett keeps it, and it's another six points for Indy:

          Jacoby Brissett makes some space for himself before somehow getting the ball in to Marcus Johnson for a TD:

          The Colts strike back, as Marlon Mack jams on the spin move button before powering in for a score:

          Nick Foles is back, and DJ Chark Jr. is on the receiving end of his first post-injury touchdown:

          Injuries:

          Marlon Mack, RB, Colts. The Colts suffered a big blow in the backfield when Marlon Mack fractured his hand in the third quarter of Sunday's game against Jacksonville. He'll miss Thursday's key AFC South game at Houston, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. Mack said he believes he suffered the injury on his final carry, a 20-yard run in the third quarter. Jonathan Williams will likely start in Mack's place at Houston. Williams, who went into Sunday's game having rushed for one yard on the season, finished with a career-high 116 yards on 13 carries. -- Mike Wells

          Josh Oliver, TE, Jaguars. Oliver suffered a back injury when he got hit while trying to catch a pass in the second half and did not return. The rookie third-round pick missed the first six games of the season (as well as the entire preseason) with a hamstring injury, and caught just three passes for 15 yards before getting hurt Sunday. He was limping around in the locker room after the game so this may be an injury that impacts him for multiple weeks. It's a position that has already lost two players to IR (James O'Shaughnessy and Geoff Swaim) and didn't have Seth DeValve on Sunday because of an abdominal injury. Right now, Ben Koyack is the only healthy tight end on the active roster, so expect the Jaguars to bring in some options to potentially sign this week. -- Michael DiRocco

          Falcons 29, Panthers 3

          Highlights:

          It's been all Falcons thus far. Off of the play fake, Matt Ryan hits a streaking Calvin Ridley, who pulls out his air guitar for the celly:

          Marvin Jones Jr. picks up his second TD of the game, and the Lions pull within one score:

          The Lions march all the way down the field, punctuated by Jeff Driskel zipping it in to Marvin Jones Jr.:

          Injuries:

          La'el Collins, RT, Cowboys. The Cowboys are optimistic Collins will be OK after aggravating a medial collateral ligament sprain in his left knee late in Sunday's win against Detroit. Collins had his leg collapsed as Dak Prescott was hit by Lions pass rusher Trey Flowers with 5:36 to play, and he did not return. He was replaced by Cameron Fleming, who missed the previous two games because of a calf injury suffered during the bye week. If Collins can't play, then Fleming would start at right tackle against his former team, New England, next week. -- Todd Archer

          Trey Flowers, DE, Lions. Flowers is in concussion protocol, and while he was in Detroit's locker room after the game, it's tough to predict how long he'll be out. Without Flowers -- Detroit's only consistent pass rusher -- the Lions' struggling defense is in real trouble. -- Michael Rothstein

          Frank Ragnow, C, Lions. Detroit's starting center is being evaluated for a concussion, and it's unknown how long he'll be out. If he misses time, Graham Glasgow will move to center and Kenny Wiggins will take his place at guard. -- Michael Rothstein

          Tracy Walker, S, Lions. Walker re-injured his knee, but Lions coach Matt Patricia didn't know if it was the same injury. If he's out, it's Tavon Wilson and Will Harris at safety for the foreseeable future. -- Michael Rothstein

          Pregame:

          At noon, Caesars Sportsbook's biggest NFL decisions of the day are on the Cowboys-Lions and Patriots-Eagles games. The book needs both home underdogs--the Lions and Eagles--to cover the spread. "If the Cowboys and the Patriots both get there, I will be leaving my employee badge and keys to the office on my desk on the way out," jokes Caesars Sportsbook chiefs Jeff Davis.

          Highlights:

          Injuries:

          Harrison Smith, S, Vikings. Smith sustained a hamstring injury in his left leg late in Sunday's 27-23 come-from-behind win over Denver, and did not return. Jayron Kearse filled in for Smith and was credited with a game-winning pass break-up against Noah Fant that helped the Vikings seal their victory. -- Courtney Cronin

          Ben Gedeon, LB, Vikings. Gedeon sustained his second concussion of the season in the first half, and was ruled out. He was replaced by Eric Wilson. -- Courtney Cronin

          Andy Janovich, FB, Broncos. Janovich left Sunday's loss late in the first half after suffering an elbow injury on a short reception. Janovich ran to the bench immediately after the play in obvious pain, and did not return to the lineup. There was concern that he would miss the remainder of the season after they left the stadium, but he will be evaluated more Monday. Without Janovich, the Broncos aren't as efficient in the their two-back looks -- one of their best personnel groupings in the first half as they built a 20-0 lead -- and Janovich is a core special teams player. His absence would force Andrew Beck into the lineup. -- Jeff Legwold

          Ty Nsekhe, RT, Bills. Nsekhe was rolled up on in the third quarter and carted off the field after spending several minutes on the turf. The Bills' right tackle was ruled out with an ankle injury, and there is some definite concern about its severity, given how the medical staff immediately immobilized his right leg before helping him onto the cart. Cody Ford is the next man up if Nsekhe can't play next week against the Broncos, which would almost certainly give the rookie his toughest assignment of the season: Containing one of the league's premier pass rushers, Von Miller. -- Marcel Louis-Jacques

          49ers 36, Cardinals 26

          Injuries:

          Dee Ford, DE, 49ers. Ford departed Sunday's win against Arizona in the second quarter with a hamstring injury that kept him out for the rest of the game. With Ford out, the Niners had to turn to a cast of characters including recently signed Damontre Moore to fill the void. It's too soon to say how much time Ford will miss, if any. But if he does miss time, the Niners become perilously thin on the edge. Already without Ronald Blair III (torn ACL), the 49ers will monitor Ford's status as they prepare for next week's game against Green Bay. -- Nick Wagoner

          Injuries:

          Auden Tate, WR, Bengals. Tate was loaded onto a stretcher by medics and carted off the field following a scary incident in the fourth quarter of Sunday's loss. Tate suffered a neck injury after he caught a 20-yard pass on third-and-19 to extend a drive in the fourth quarter. Bengals coach Zac Taylor said after the game that Tate was responsive. Even with the injury, Tate finished with team highs in catches (four), targets (six) and yards (56). If he is out for an extended period of time, the Bengals will be without three of their top receivers until A.J. Green and John Ross make their returns. -- Ben Baby

          Josh Jacobs, RB, Raiders. Jacobs rushed for 112 yards, his fourth game with at least 100 yards on the ground, but he was tackled awkwardly down the left sideline in the fourth quarter. He landed on his banged-up shoulder, which needed a pain-killing shot in Green Bay last month, but it did not look serious. He has rushed for 923 yards on the season, and the first-round draft pick is starting to feel every hit. -- Paul Gutierrez

          Patriots 17, Eagles 10

          Patriots inactives: TE Ryan Izzo, PR Gunner Olszewski, DT Byron Cowart, QB Cody Kessler, OT Korey Cunningham, S Patrick Chung, RB Damien Harris

          Eagles inactives: OLB Nigel Bradham, DE Daeshon Hall, OG Nate Herbig, RB Jordan Howard, WR Alshon Jeffery, DE Shareef Miller, QB Nate Sudfeld

          Highlights:

          Some trickery from the Patriots (albeit some trickery we've seen before): Tom Brady throws back to Julian Edelman, who throws to Phillip Dorsett II to put the Pats ahead:

          Carson Wentz connects with Dallas Goedert, and after the play was initially ruled an interception, it is reversed following replay review for an Eagles TD:

          Not much going on with the offenses early on in this game, but this screen pass to Dallas Goedert went for 21 yards:

          Injuries:

          Phillip Dorsett II, WR, Patriots. Dorsett was hit in the head on his 15-yard touchdown reception from Julian Edelman in the third quarter, and left the game to go through the concussion protocol. Dorsett was alert in the locker room afterward, but never returned to the game. With Dorsett out, it thrust 2019 first-round pick N'Keal Harry into his role in the Patriots' three-receiver set. -- Mike Reiss
