Dallas Wings forward Maddy Siegrist will be out approximately eight weeks after undergoing finger surgery Thursday.

Siegrist, 24, fractured her left index finger on her non-shooting hand in the first quarter of Monday night's loss at Minnesota.

The Wings estimated Friday that her earliest return would be in mid-August, when league play resumes after the Paris Olympics.

Siegrist is averaging 14.6 points and 4.2 rebounds in 13 games (11 starts) in her second WNBA season. The No. 3 pick in the 2023 draft averaged 3.7 points in 39 games off the bench in her rookie season.
