The New York Liberty knocked off the defending champion Las Vegas Aces on Sunday, winning 76-62 for a 3-1 series victory.

Sabrina Ionescu had a team-high 22 points, while Breanna Stewart had 19 points and 14 rebounds, pushing New York to its sixth overall and second straight appearance in the WNBA Finals. Aces star A'ja Wilson had 19 points and 10 rebounds in the loss.

New York's win ended Las Vegas' quest to become the second WNBA team to win three consecutive championships.

The Liberty trolled the Aces on social media multiple times, including putting Timberland boots, a popular shoe in New York, on the Aces logo. New York also used a meme from popular influencer Druski to throw another virtual jab.

The Liberty will face the winner of the Minnesota Lynx and Connecticut Sun. New York has never won a WNBA championship.
