AP women's college basketball poll reaction: What's next for Top 25 teams

play
Highlight: Edwards leads No. 2 South Carolina to win over Auburn (1:05)

Joyce Edwards leads the Gamecocks' offense with 18 points to defeat the Tigers, 83-66, setting a new SEC record with their 70th consecutive home win. (1:05)

Some of the biggest excitement in women's college basketball this past weekend came above the court as a pair of legends -- South Carolina's A'ja Wilson and Iowa's Caitlin Clark -- had their numbers retired and raised to the rafters at their schools.

That said, the Hawkeyes stirred things up before the Clark ceremonies by pulling off a major upset to hand USC just its second loss of the season 76-69.

In the SEC on Sunday, Kentucky's Georgia Amoore had a career day, scoring 43 points in the Wildcats' 95-86 win over Oklahoma in the day's only matchup of ranked foes.

What does it all mean for the AP Top 25? Let's break down the new rankings.
