A scheduled WWE appearance for the Ball family was bound to be out of control, but LaVar Ball made sure to leave his mark Monday night in Los Angeles.
After walking down to the ring with his son LaMelo, a UCLA basketball recruit, LaVar hyped up a Staples Center audience to cheer for the newest Los Angeles Lakers star -- his son Lonzo, fresh off Thursday's NBA draft.
By the end of the segment, in which LaVar went toe-to-toe with WWE superstar The Miz on his aptly named Miz TV talk show, Ball had removed his shirt and started to run around the ring.
LaVar Ball and LaMelo Ball were the first guests of The Miz on WWE Raw as mannequins wearing BBB clothes lined the ring.
LaVar Ball then introduced Lonzo Ball to the Staples Center crowd as the face of the Lakers.
Of course, LaVar Ball couldn't resist the urge to take off his shirt and challenge The Miz.
There would be no match for LaVar Ball but Dean Ambrose represented the Ball family by wearing a BBB shirt for his six-man tag-team match.
The Miz would end up taking out his aggression on a Big Baller Brand mannequin.
Later during the appearance, while watching his father dance around the ring, LaMelo Ball uttered a racial slur, seemingly prompting a quick end to the segment.
"The inappropriate language used by a guest during the 'Miz TV' segment was not scripted nor reflects WWE's values," WWE said in a statement.
