Predicting where top college football prospects will sign leading into national signing week

Offensive lineman Marcus Dumervil, the No. 65 prospect in the ESPN 300, is considering LSU, Louisville, Florida and Oklahoma. Tim Heitman-USA TODAY Sports

College football's early signing period begins Wednesday, and many of the top high school football prospects are expected to sign a national letter of intent next week.

There are currently 57 uncommitted ESPN 300 recruits, and while not all of them will end up signing in the early signing period, some big names are coming off the board in just a few days.

Here is a look at some of the top uncommitted recruits who plan on making their commitments and signing a national letter of intent, next week.

DE Jordan Burch
6-foot-4, 250 pounds
Columbia, South Carolina/Hammond School
ESPN 300 rank: 5

Burch has been tough to read, so this one could go in a few different directions. He is from Columbia, South Carolina, and the Gamecocks are very much in the conversation to land him. LSU has pushed hard to add this five-star to its class as well, and Clemson has not given up, trying to push back up to the No. 1-ranked class. This very well could be down to those three schools, and Burch could end up at any of them.
