NORMAN, Okla. -- With Oklahoma taking a non-regional approach to recruiting the class of 2013, the Sooners didn't waste any time finding and offering their top targets.
It paid off in helping OU nab running back Greg Bryant (Delray Beach, Fla./American Heritage-Boca Delray), ranked No. 29 in the ESPN 150. Other than Bryant, however, it has been the usual for the Sooners as the other three commitments are from Oklahoma or Texas.
Because OU already has made so many offers to prospects from across the nation, the evaluation period isn't too much about those recruits. But there are several players in the usual hotbeds for OU recruiting that will be getting another look from the Sooners' coaches.
