Badminton: PV Sindhu went out in the opening round of the Indonesia Masters along with a host of other Indians, with only Lakshya Sen and Kapila-Crasto winning.
Chess: D Gukesh ground out a win to close the gap on joint-leader R Praggnanandhaa in Round 5 of the Tata Steel Chess Masters.
