The Twins have arguably the best farm system in the American League right now, with six players making Keith Law's midseason top 50 list, three of them in the top 20.
And while the system certainly has its share of upper-echelon prospects, one of the more underrated aspects is that it has as much depth as any in baseball right now. The Twins have several prospects in the 7-to-15 range that would rank in the top three -- and in some cases at the top -- of the majority of farm systems right now. On Saturday, we'll see one of those prospects make his big league debut, as the Twins have called up right-hander Trevor May to start against Oakland. With a quality effort against one of the best lineups in baseball, he'll have a chance to finish the season in the rotation.
