          Fantasy baseball: Getting good mileage out of Zac Gallen

          Perhaps it is not so surprising that Arizona Diamondbacks right-hander Zac Gallen failed to win his Monday outing versus the Giants, since wins oddly and unfairly seem to elude him. That said, a rather unusual number appears in his earned runs column. It says "4" but that cannot be correct. The first 23 starts of Gallen's career ended without a number higher than "3" in earned runs, a big-league record. Actually, when he left Monday's outing there was a "3" but men were on base and one of them scored. Oh well.
