Monaco have confirmed the signing of striker Guido Carrillo from Argentinian club Estudiantes.
The 24-year-old has signed a five-year deal with the Ligue 1 side, having spent all of his career up to this point with Estudiantes.

"I'd known AS Monaco were interested in me for a while,'' he said on the Monaco website. "What I knew about the team and Monaco obviously made me want to come here. I'm very happy with this decision. ''
The Argentinians first announced a deal last month, saying on their website that they had agreed the sale for a fee of $10 million (€8.8 million at that time).
Carrillo scored 42 goals in 141 appearances for Estudiantes, including seven in 10 in the Copa Internacional this season.
