Nice manager Claude Puel says that rumoured Paris Saint-Germain target Hatem Ben Arfa is starting to realise just how talented a player he is.
Ben Arfa, 29, is enjoying his best season to date in Ligue 1 and his 16 goals have helped Nice climb to fourth in the table with four games left.
The former Newcastle attacker is out of contract at the end of the season and L'Equipe has once again reported that PSG are keen to sign him this summer.
Reports in Spain say Atletico Madrid are also interested in the player and Nice president Jean-Pierre Rivere conceded last week that it would be difficult for his club to keep hold of their star attraction.
Nice manager Claude Puel has been given credit for getting the best out of Ben Arfa. But he said that the French international has been easy to handle after spending six months without a club last season.
"I think it was Hatem who developed," Puel told Canal Football Club on Sunday. "He experienced some difficult things in his career and I think he arrived at Nice with the maturity required -- the necessary perspective -- and was prepared to listen.
"It was a good encounter for the club -- for everyone. For me too because he's a very good guy.
"He's a superb player. I find he's developed again because he has so much talent and I think even he didn't realise everything he had in his locker.
"So it was interesting to see him develop from that point of view."
Ben Arfa has previously said he would be open to a move to PSG. He is also hoping to earn a place in the France squad for Euro 2016 after scoring the first hat trick of his senior career against Rennes earlier this month.
