The Belgian FA (KBVB) has proposed that Kortrijk be fined €1,000 for their fans' racial abuse of Standard Liege's Uche Agbo in last week's league game.
The football authorities were urged to take firm action after Agbo was subjected to monkey chants and pelted with beer as he made his way back to the dressing room after being sent off in the first half of the match on Dec. 27.
However, Kortrijk, who won the game 2-1, are likely to face a fine of just €1,000 after the FA's disciplinary body sat on Tuesday.
Standard could be fined €500 after their fans threw a flare following Agbo's red card.
The midfielder, who is at Standard on loan from Watford, is facing a one-game ban.
Both clubs could reject the proposals.
