Top UFC welterweight Santiago Ponzinibbio will headline a card in his home country of Argentina as he takes on Neil Magny as the main event of UFC Fight Night: Buenos Aires on Nov. 17, a source confirmed to ESPN.
Ponzinibbio (26-3), the No. 10-ranked fighter in the division, has won six bouts in a row. His most recent victory came in an impressive, unanimous-decision result against Mike Perry last December.
The matchup was first reported by Combate.
Magny (21-6) is a winner in three of his past four matchups. He finished Craig White by first-round knockout in Liverpool, England, in May. Magny was originally supposed to fight Alex Oliveira on Sept. 22 in Sao Paolo, Brazil.
The UFC is currently looking for a replacement opponent for Oliveira.
