Titans GM Jon Robinson: Need 'king's ransom' for No. 1 pick

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- If the Titans deal out of the No. 1 pick in the NFL draft, they expect a load of picks in exchange for doing so.

Speaking in the club level of Nissan Stadium at 104.5 The Zone's annual SportsFest, Titans general manager Jon Robinson addressed his feelings on the value of the pick.

"There is a group of players that are at the top of the draft, that, you don't want to move back too far cause you can miss out on one of those guys, and if you do move back that far you want to make sure that you have a king's ransom, for lack of a better term, to move that far," he said. "I would say that for us to move out of that pick, it's going to take a substantial amount of picks to do that."

Robinson and coach Mike Mularkey joked about how willing top prospects are to talk with the Titans.

They told the brother of Ohio State pass rusher Joey Bosa "well played" when he wore Titans garb to Bosa's pro day.
