Colts WR Donte Moncrief has fractured scapula in left shoulder

INDIANAPOLIS -- Colts receiver Donte Moncrief has a fractured scapula in his left shoulder and will be out four to six weeks, coach Chuck Pagano announced Wednesday.

Moncrief's injury does not require surgery, Pagano said.

Moncrief injured his shoulder when Denver safety T.J. Ward hit him on an incomplete pass in a loss to the Broncos on Sunday. Moncrief has seven receptions for 73 yards and a touchdown this season.

Moncrief's injury adds to the list of players ailing for the Colts. Pro Bowl cornerback Vontae Davis (ankle) has yet to play this season and the team also has been dealing with injuries to safeties Clayton Geathers (foot) and T.J. Green (knee), defensive lineman Henry Anderson (knee), and cornerback Darius Butler (hamstring).

The Colts lack experience behind T.Y. Hilton and Phillip Dorsett at receiver. Quan Bray, who is primarily a return specialist, or rookie Chester Rogers will be the third receiver in Moncrief's absence.

The Colts signed receiver Devin Street to their 53-man roster off the New England Patriots practice squad Wednesday.
