Patrick Mahomes references bowling meme in celebratory tweet

When it comes to memes, Patrick Mahomes has excellent taste.

Shortly after winning the AFC Championship Game over the Cincinnati Bengals 23-20, Mahomes did what athletes these days usually do after a big win -- he took to social media and posted about it. Only, unlike nearly every other time this sort of thing has ever happened, he used a bowling reference.

For those not in the know, that's a GIF of legendary professional bowler Pete Weber celebrating after winning the 2012 U.S. Open by a single pin. If you haven't seen the full video, here it is:

Flashback: Pete Weber's famous 'Who do you think you are? I am!' rant

On Feb. 26, 2012, Pete Weber won the U.S. Open by one pin and his celebration became an instant classic.

"Who do you think you are, I am!" became an instant meme the moment Weber said it, and it's good to see Mahomes showing appreciation for the classics. This might also be a reference to Mahomes' rival Joe Burrow, who was caught on a hot mic proclaiming "I'm him!" during his team's win against the Buffalo Bills in this year's playoffs.

Either way, it's another W for Mahomes.
