Source: Jaguars, right guard Brandon Scherff restructure deal

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Jacksonville Jaguars and right guard Brandon Scherff have agreed to a restructured contract that will fully guarantee Scherff's $15 million salary this season, a league source told ESPN's Adam Schefter on Sunday.

Scherff was scheduled to count $23.96 million against the salary cap in 2024, but the restructure allows the team to save roughly $5 million this season.

Scherff already had three voidable years (2025-2027) added to his deal when the team restructured his contract prior to the 2023 season, and that remains the same, per a league source.

Scherff ranked 13th in pass block win rate (93.7%) among guards in 2023, per ESPN Stats & Information research.

With the re-signing of left guard Ezra Cleveland earlier this week and Scherff agreeing to his restructured deal, the Jaguars will return all five starting offensive linemen from 2023.

The Jaguars ranked 29th in pass block win rate (50.5%) and 28th in run block win rate (68.1%), per ESPN Stats & Information.
