Bills' 'Sopranos'-themed post at Jets tops Week 6 trolls

Divisional matchups across the NFL brought out petty posts on social media.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers dominated the New Orleans Saints. The Indianapolis Colts narrowly beat the Tennessee Titans. And on Thursday, the San Francisco 49ers defeated the Seattle Seahawks on the road.

On Monday night, another divisional meeting prompted a spicy troll -- this time from the Buffalo Bills, who defeated the New York Jets on the road 23-20. Buffalo led 20-10 before New York tied it up in the third quarter. The Bills regained the lead for good in the fourth and sealed the win with a Taron Johnson interception, extending their first-place lead in the AFC East.

Buffalo remixed a famous scene from "The Sopranos" and put its own spin on the subway signs prominent throughout New York City with a post that included a rat in a Josh Allen jersey.

The Bills also took a jab at the Jersey-based Jets' New York bonafides by celebrating wins by the New York Mets and New York Yankees.

Here are the other top trolls for Week 6.

Detroit Lions 47, Dallas Cowboys 9

The Detroit Lions dominated the host Dallas Cowboys, cruising to a 47-9 victory. Detroit's offense compiled 492 yards, while its defense forced five turnovers. The 47 points is the most Dallas has ever allowed in a game in which it did not score a touchdown, per ESPN Research.

If the huge win weren't enough, the Lions trolled the Cowboys with a simple response to the team's pregame post.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers 51, New Orleans Saints 27

The Buccaneers left no room for doubt in their win over the Saints.

Tampa Bay outscored New Orleans 27-0 in the second half and compiled 594 total yards of offense. Baker Mayfield threw for 325 yards plus four touchdowns and three interceptions -- the Buccaneers are the third team since 2000 to score 50 points despite throwing three interceptions, per ESPN Research.

Tampa Bay had a simple troll aimed at its division rivals, referencing a lyric from Atlanta rapper Bankroll Fresh to show Buccaneers fans taking over the Caesars Superdome. They also posted a video of Mayfield shushing the home crowd.

Indianapolis Colts 20, Tennessee Titans 17

With Joe Flacco back under center, the Colts got their third win in four games and first in divisional action.

The Titans had a chance to win the game, receiving the ball with 22 seconds left. But their lateral attempt came up short. Flacco threw for 189 yards and two touchdowns, while Will Levis had just 95 passing yards with a touchdown, and they had one interception apiece.

Indianapolis opted for a "Music City" theme to its troll at Tennessee.

Houston Texans 41, New England Patriots 21

The Houston Texans spoiled Drake Maye's first career start, jumping out to a 14-0 lead and never looking back.

The New England Patriots quarterback threw for 243 yards and three touchdowns but also had two interceptions and a lost fumble in his debut. C.J. Stroud had 192 passing yards plus three touchdowns.

Houston trolled New England multiple times, including a twist on a famous scene from "Good Will Hunting," which takes place in Boston. The Texans also captioned their post with former Patriots coach Bill Belichick's "do your job" phrase.

Los Angeles Chargers 23, Denver Broncos 16

The Los Angeles Chargers didn't miss a beat coming off the bye week, holding on to defeat the Denver Broncos on the road.

The Broncos scored 16 unanswered points in the fourth quarter, but it was too little, too late. The win snapped Los Angeles' two-game losing streak and Denver's three-game win streak. Justin Herbert threw for a season-high 237 yards plus one touchdown, while Bo Nix had 216 passing yards and two scores.

The Chargers used a video of someone threatening to launch a water balloon at a child to troll the Broncos.

Pittsburgh Steelers 32, Las Vegas Raiders 13

Coming off a close loss to the Dallas Cowboys, the Pittsburgh Steelers comfortably defeated the Las Vegas Raiders.

Pittsburgh put together its highest-scoring game of the season with 32 points and had 293 total yards. The Steelers also forced three turnovers, including two fumbles forced by T.J. Watt. Justin Fields threw for 145 yards and ran for 59 yards and two touchdowns.

There were trolls aplenty after the game from the Steelers. First, they used the "just win, baby" phrase coined by famous Raiders owner Al Davis, then poked fun at Allegiant Stadium resembling a Roomba vacuum.

San Francisco 49ers 36, Seattle Seahawks 24

Sunday matchup or not, the 49ers still made sure to poke fun at the Seahawks after their win.

San Francisco put together 483 total yards of offense and forced three turnovers in a complete game. The result puts both teams at 3-3 and tied for first in the NFC West.

The 49ers poked fun at the Seahawks' home, "Lumen Field," in their postgame troll.
