Hours after the suspension of Alberto Del Rio was announced, WWE superstar Paige was also suspended 30 days for violating the WWE's talent wellness policy. She is the fifth superstar to be suspended in 2016, joining Del Rio, Roman Reigns, Adam Rose and Konnor.

This is the first violation for Paige, real name Saraya-Jade Bevis, who turned 24 today. She has been out of action recently due to injury, but is a two-time Divas champion and was the first NXT women's champion, winning that title in 2013. Prior to signing with the WWE, Paige was part of the Shimmer Women Athletes promotion.
The suspension begins effective Thursday, meaning Paige will be eligible to return on Sept. 17.
