          BOURBONNAIS, Ill. -- Every day at Chicago Bears training camp is about the quarterbacks. There is no quarterback controversy -- Mike Glennon is the clear-cut No. 1 -- but plenty of intrigue surrounds Glennon (still a relative unknown), Mark Sanchez (former high-profile starter) and Mitchell Trubisky (No. 2 overall pick of the 2017 NFL draft).

          Here's a closer look at their day Friday:

          Mike Glennon

          Wow moment: Glennon played a role in the best play of the day Friday. Close to the end of practice, the Bears lined up for a live, 11-on-11 goal-line drill. On the first play, Glennon tossed a fade pass to rookie tight end Adam Shaheen, who pinned a defender on his back and made a one-handed touchdown catch in the back left corner of the end zone. Shaheen's catch captured all the headlines, but Glennon's ball placement was perfect.

          Woah moment: Again, not putting all the blame on Glennon, but he's not been successful on the deep ball. Early in practice, during 7-on-7 and 11-on-11, Glennon overshot Cameron Meredith and Kevin White, who had beaten their respective defenders. Whatever the reasoning for all the misfires, Glennon and the Bears have to figure out how to connect on those throws.

          Mark Sanchez

          Wow moment: In the same goal-line drill, Sanchez rolled outside of the pocket to his left and held onto the ball long enough to freeze the defenders in the area. Sanchez then lofted a pass over the defense to fullback Michael Burton, who made a leaping grab for a touchdown. Earlier in the day, Sanchez showed great concentration when he bobbled a snap but recovered in time to hit Josh Bellamy for a completion.

          Mitchell Trubisky

          Wow moment: Trubisky threw one of his best balls of camp, but it fell incomplete. In 11-on-11, Trubisky launched a beautiful deep pass to a streaking Deonte Thompson, but Thompson flat-out dropped it. Still, the throw itself was memorable. Trubisky also had a snap where he rolled to his right and found Tanner Gentry for a completion. Trubsiky has been successful throughout camp when rolling outside the pocket to his right.
