Andy Lee's WBO world middleweight title defence against Billy Joe Saunders will be rescheduled for a second time after Saunders was cut in sparring.
Promoter Frank Warren now hopes the fight can take place in late November at a date and venue to be confirmed after it was postponed from taking place at the Manchester Arena on October 10.
Irishman Lee (34-2-1, 24 KOs), 31, had initially been due to make a first defence of his WBO middleweight belt against Saunders (22-0 12 KOs) at Thomond Park - home of rugby side Munster - in Limerick on September 19.
But Lee had to pull out of that date because of illness and now Englishman Saunders has been cut in training, meaning a second changed date.
"Unfortunately Billy Joe Saunders suffered a cut in training and his fight against Andy Lee will be postponed until late November and we'll be making an announcement about it later," said promoter Frank Warren, who also manages Saunders.
"The show will still be going ahead and it's a great show with two world title fights and we are working on another world title fight to go on the bill."
The October 10 show goes ahead with two confirmed world title fights: Liverpool's Liam Smith (20-0-1, 10 KOs), against American John Thompson (17-1-0, 6 KOs) for the vacant WBO light-middleweight belt and Manchester's WBO world lightweight champion Terry Flanagan (28-0, 11 KOs) against American Diego Magdaleno (28-1, 12 KOs).
Lee, who last boxed in April when he drew on points with Peter Quillin in a non-title bout, could feature in a non-title bout if Saunders is told his cut will be healed by late November or early December.
