Ohio State cornerback Davison Igbinosun will return to Ohio State in 2025, he told ESPN. He did not file paperwork to enter the NFL Draft, which was due today for OSU/Notre Dame players. “I'm coming back to school to be a first-round draft pick,” he told ESPN. Igbinosun is a two-time All-Big Ten honorable mention cornerback who has been a two-year starter since transferring from Ole Miss. He said the allure of being more of a leader next year was a big part in his return.

Ohio State star running back Quinshon Judkins is leaving school early and will declare for the NFL draft, he told ESPN. His addition to the 2025 draft marks another high-end tailback, as Judkins ranks as the No. 5 overall running back in the upcoming draft in Mel Kiper Jr.'s position rankings. He scored three touchdowns in the national title win on Monday and accounted for 1,221 yards and 16 TDs this season in Columbus.

Sources: Former Minnesota star tailback Mohamed Ibrahim is expected to become the running backs coach at Kent State. The move will re-unite him with his college position coach, Kenni Burns, who recruited him to Minnesota and coached him there. Ibrahim helped coach running backs at Minnesota this year. Ibrahim is a two-time First-Team All-Big Ten RB at Minnesota who is the Big Ten's No. 10 all-time leading rusher with 4,668 yards. He also rushed for 53 touchdowns, which is a school record.

Sources: Minnesota is hiring veteran defensive coordinator Kevin Kane in an on-field coaching role. Kane has been the defensive coordinator NIU, SMU and Purdue. He'll bring more experience to the Minnesota defensive staff. Kane also worked in the Big Ten at Illinois from 2021-22 as the school's OLB coach and associate head coach. He also worked three seasons at Wisconsin early in his career.

Sources: Northwestern is targeting Cal running back coach Aristotle Thompson to be the school's new running backs coach. The deal is expected to come together in the near future. He's worked at Cal the last five years and at Cal Poly for 11 years. He recruited and developed first-team All-Pac-12 RB Jaydn Ott. He's a former Boise State tailback who worked twice at the school in off-field roles.
