Shooting guard Antonio Blakeney, the No. 16 player in the ESPN 100, has confirmed to ESPN Recruiting Nation that he is headed to Louisville.
"I was very comfortable with the coaching staff, and I know coach [Rick] Pitino will push me to reach my full potential. I also feel that I am stepping into a great situation as a freshman," Blakeney said.
The five-star shooting guard out of Oak Ridge High in Orlando, Florida, picked the Cardinals over finalists Kentucky, LSU and Missouri, giving Pitino one of the most prolific scorers high school basketball has to offer regardless of class.
Blakeney joins three four-star performers in Louisville's Class of 2015 -- SG/PG Donovan Mitchell, SF Deng Adel and PF Raymond Spalding -- giving the Cardinals a talented early haul loaded with immediate contributors.
