Spring evaluations cheat sheet

Ahead of the spring evaluation period for the Class of 2015, ESPN RecruitingNation writers Jeremy Crabtree and Tom Luginbill answer key questions about schools, recruits and more.

Crabtree: 5 big questions for schools entering the spring evaluation period

1. Which school will emerge with the top-ranked 2015 class?
The smart money is on schools from the SEC such as Texas A&M and LSU, both of which have nine early commitments and have done a stellar job of securing local talent. But I would also keep a close eye on Florida State. Coming off a national championship, the Seminoles are red-hot on the recruiting trail and are turning the heads of a number of elite recruits from coast to coast. They have traditionally closed strong under coach Jimbo Fisher, but this year things might be different, with the Noles being able to lure recruits with the prestige that a championship trophy brings. If FSU's start -- seven commits, five of whom are in the ESPN Junior 300 -- is any indication, then it's going to be a big spring for the Seminoles.
