The state of Utah is led by ESPN 150 quarterback Cooper Bateman (Salt Lake City/Cottonwood), an Alabama commitment, but big players on both sides of the line add terrific depth to the state's class.
Utah always provides big bodies along the offensive front, and five of the state's top 20 recruits are offensive linemen. Programs would also do well to attack the Beehive State for linebackers, as six of the top 20 players in Utah are inside or outside linebackers, led by Stanford commitment Sean Barton (Woods Cross, Utah/Woods Cross), the No. 3 player in the state.
Early commitments have become the norm here as well, as just three of the state's top 20 players remain uncommitted -- defensive tackle Lowell Lotulelei (South Jordan, Utah/Bingham), inside linebacker Albert Tai (Riverton, Utah/Riverton) and offensive guard Elijah Tupai (Salt Lake City/Cottonwood.)
