Disney+ has launched in South Africa, and for sports fans wondering if they're catered for, there is a slate of ESPN films and series to watch, from Galacticos, to Lance, to the Bruce Lee documentary Be Water.

There are over 60 ESPN films and documentary series on D+, including films and series on soccer, the NFL, NBA, MLB, ice hockey, wrestling, boxing, college hoops and football, and... hot dog eating.

Highlighting the archive of content is the award-winning OJ: Made in America miniseries about OJ Simpson, which won the Academy Award for best documentary in 2017, as well as four Critics' Choice awards, and a Peabody.

Fans of football giants Real Madrid will enjoy Galacticos, which chronicles then-Real president Florentino Perez and his drive to build a super team, which featured the likes of David Beckham, Zinedine Zidane, Luis Figo, Kaka, Ronaldo, and Michael Owen.

Take a sneak peek at "Be Water," an upcoming 30 for 30 documentary about the life of martial arts trailblazer Bruce Lee. The documentary debuts Sunday, June 7, at 9 p.m. ET on ESPN.

Bruce Lee is an icon for any kid who did martial arts or karate in the late 20th century, and his appeal endures. Be Water is the 2020 documentary about Lee's struggle against racism as he looked to establish his Hollywood career.

If you're a fan of college basketball and/or loathing a rival athlete, then I Hate Christian Laettner is the film for you. It looks at the polarising Duke player's career, and the buzzer-beater against Kentucky in 1992 that cemented him in the hearts of both teams' fans, though with very different emotions.

Speaking of controversial and polarising, Lance is the 2020 miniseries about the adored and then notorious cyclist and his fall from grace, which also aired on ESPN's channels in Africa and is available on ESPN Player.
