The injuries to QB1-caliber quarterbacks in fantasy football have rightfully been getting most of the attention from fantasy owners, yet the reality of the situation is that the slew of running back issues have been even more damaging this season.

Eddie Lacy, C.J. Anderson, Marshawn Lynch, LeSean McCoy and DeMarco Murray were all top-10 running backs in average draft position (ADP) and have all already either missed time or been hampered due to injuries.

Add Justin Forsett, Jeremy Hill, Melvin Gordon, Alfred Morris, Joique Bell, Jonathan Stewart and Lamar Miller, backs who have all fallen well short of their preseason expectations due to a variety of issues, to this list, and it shows that more than half of the top-20 running backs in ADP have not delivered as anticipated.

So what should fantasy owners do? To answer that question, let's take a look at some of these situations to diagnose the problems and outline what actions, if any, fantasy owners should take this week.
