Real Salt Lake's Mike Petke a picture of anger in postmatch news conference

Real Salt Lake coach Mike Petke was not a happy camper after Saturday night's 1-1 draw with Sporting Kansas City.

Petke was dismissed from the touchline in the 72nd minute of the clash for kicking off after Joao Plata was not awarded a foul -- and he took out his frustration at those in his postmatch news conference.

The RSL boss let everyone know that he was not pleased with the decision not to hand his side a free kick after Plata was put in what he described as "a freaking headlock," handing out pictures of the incident to journalists to prove his point.

They were the second set of photographs he passed around, with the first showing Kansas City's Ilie putting his hands on an opponent's throat in a previous match -- a move which angered Petke, given it went unpunished compared to his own player Kyle Beckerman getting fined for a past incident that involved him "literally extending his arm."

A visibly angry Petke didn't stop there, saying he had two more pictures to back up his frustrations, only that "the freaking printer didn't work" so he couldn't print them off.

"If I don't act the way I do, I can't sleep again for the next four weeks," he added.

Probably best to give him some more time to cool off.
