Tom Carroll's biggest fan and her doll's global adventures

Tom Carroll has an amazing super-fan, who appears to travel the globe with a knitted doll of the Tottenham midfielder.

According to her Instagram page, Harper Jun is a Chinese PhD student who lives in Hong Kong and is, shall we say, rather fond of Carroll.

Indeed, just after her academic prowess is noted, Harper's bio mentions having met the 23-year-old four times!

Overall, the account has over 300 posts, nearly all of which are pictures of the Carroll doll -- complete with his first name on the front and surname on the back -- in front of various global landmarks, including some of London's most famous sights.

Harper (and the doll) have attended Spurs matches with a Carroll banner and even waited outside the club's North London training centre, hoping to catch a glimpse of her hero.

Carroll made his first Premier League start for Spurs in November but Harper's obsession seems to long pre-date this season and her collection of shirts also includes ones from his loans at QPR and Swansea City.

The return to fitness of Mousa Dembele has ended Carroll's run in the Spurs first team for now but whatever happens to the former England under-21 international hereafter, it appears he has a fan for life!
