Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has dismissed fears that midfielder Jack Wilshere could struggle to make next summer's European Championship.
England midfielder Wilshere has not played this season after suffering a hairline crack to his fibula towards the end of preseason.
He underwent surgery on the problem in September after it proved slow to heal.
But speaking at a news conference, Wenger said he could be back in action in the early weeks of 2016.
"I maintain what I have said [before] -- that he could make it back for February or even earlier," the Frenchman added. "I don't believe that at all [that he could be a doubt for the tournament].
"He will be available again. Considering England play in the Euros on June 10, that is a long way away."
Wenger said Alexis Sanchez could be fit to face Sunderland in the FA Cup next month as he continued his recovery from a hamstring problem.
Sanchez, who has been sidelined since November, may face the Black Cats at the Emirates Stadium on Jan. 9 after Wenger said he would be "back in one week."
Wenger confirmed England striker Danny Welbeck was also on the comeback trail and could return to action in February.
