Mauro Icardi branded Maxi Lopez "ignorant" as the pair's feud continued in Inter Milan's 2-1 loss to Torino on Sunday.
The two players have been at odds since Icardi married Lopez's ex-wife Wanda Nara in 2013, just months after she divorced the Argentine striker.
It became worse when Icardi spotted a tattoo of Lopez's three children on his arm, which resulted in the player refusing to shake Icardi's hand in a Serie A game back in April 2014.
With Wanda and her four children -- three from Lopez and one from Icardi -- watching on from the stands, Lopez again refused to shake Icardi's hand, as he bypassed the Inter captain during the pre-match handshake on Sunday.
"Unfortunately, these things happen, it depends on the ignorance of certain people," Icardi told Mediaset Premium during a half-time interview.
"I gave my hand, I am polite."
Icardi went on to convert a 17th minute penalty but the visitors came back with two second half goals through Cristian Molinaro and Andrea Belotti against nine-man Inter, who had Miranda and Yuto Nagtomo sent off.
