Emre Mor move from Dortmund to Inter Milan on hold after collapsing

Emre Mor's transfer to Inter Milan has "collapsed for now," according to Borussia Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc.

Mor, 20, appeared to be on his way out of Dortmund last week when he was released from training to hold "final talks with another club," reported to be Inter Milan.

However, despite both clubs already agreeing on a deal which would have seen the Turkey international join Inter on a one-year loan and then on a permanent transfer, he returned to Dortmund at the weekend and resumed training.

Speaking to Ruhr Nachrichten, Zorc said the transfer to Inter has "collapsed for now" and added that Mor "is a Borussia Dortmund player, and he will train with us."

Reports from Italy claim that the midfielder's agent blocked the move as he was unhappy with his personal cut, though Zorc did not go into details as to why the transfer was not completed.

"We expected the deal to go through," he said.

Zorc also said Mor's failed transfer to Inter had nothing to do with Ousmane Dembele's situation. The 20-year-old has been suspended from team training amid interest from Barcelona as Dortmund wait for an improved bid from the La Liga side.

"No, that's not the case," Zorc said. "The move just collapsed for now."
