Craig Goodwin has sealed his return to A-League club Adelaide United.
The 26-year-old has signed a three-year deal with the Reds, whom he left to join Dutch Eredivisie club Sparta Rotterdam two seasons ago.
"I'm obviously very excited,," Goodwin said in a statement. "I've left Holland with things not ending the way I would have liked, but I'm looking forward to this new opportunity to really take me to the next level.
"I just want to get back to really enjoying my football and that's what I did in the two years I spent here before, creating some of the most memorable moments of my career and of my life as well.
"I also really want to be able to share some more great moments with the fans, with my teammates, and with my family and friends.
"One of the things I really remember is when Coopers Stadium is packed out the atmosphere is unbelievable.
"And if there's one thing I can say to the fans is to try and pack out every game as much as possible.
"If we can do that then it'll help the boys on the field and we can really try and give our supporters something to be proud of."
