Lazio midfielder Ravel Morrison is being lined up for a move to Portugal with Vitoria Setubal, sources have told ESPN FC.
Former Manchester United player Morrison is currently back at Lazio following a successful loan spell at Mexican club Atlas.
Morrison impressed during his stint in Liga MX, scoring four goals in 25 appearances for Atlas and they were keen to have him back on loan again this season.
However, Portuguese club Vitoria have entered the race for Morrison and hope to lure him to the Primeira Liga.
Morrison is in the final year of his contract at Lazio, but the 25-year-old does not figure in their plans going forward and they are willing to sell him.
He has not appeared for Lazio since December 2015, and has not started a Serie A match for them since joining earlier that year.
Morrison was once the most highly rated youngster in the Manchester United academy by Sir Alex Ferguson, but he failed to fulfill his potential at Old Trafford after a series of off-field incidents and moved to West Ham in 2012.
