An intriguing welterweight fight has been added to UFC 232.
The promotion has booked Carlos Condit (30-12) vs. Michael Chiesa (14-4) for the Dec. 29 fight card in Las Vegas, multiple sources told ESPN.
The fight will mark Chiesa's UFC debut at 170 pounds. Prior to his most recent lightweight fight in July, which he lost to Anthony Pettis, Chiesa missed weight by 1.5 pounds. Afterward, Chiesa said it would be his last time stepping on the scales as a lightweight, and he has stayed true to his word. He'll enter the fight on a two-bout losing streak.
Condit will be looking to snap a four-fight losing streak of his own. He most recently lost via second-round submission to Alex Oliveira in April.
The event, which will take place at T-Mobile Arena, will also feature Cris Cyborg vs. Amanda Nunes for the women's featherweight title, though that fight has not been confirmed as the main event yet.
