Isaiah Whitehead to stay in draft, skip final 2 seasons at Seton Hall

Seton Hall sophomore Isaiah Whitehead will remain in the NBA draft and forgo his final two years of college eligibility.

"We are extremely excited for Isaiah to join our ASM family," agent Andy Miller told ESPN. "He is very talented and has enormous upside potential. We look forward to a long, successful partnership."

The 6-foot-4 Brooklyn native, who averaged 18.2 points, 5.1 assists and 3.6 rebounds, is expected to be taken in the second round, according to multiple NBA executives.

Whitehead spearheaded Seton Hall's resurgence last season, one which resulted in a 25-win campaign and a berth in the NCAA tournament.

Despite losing Whitehead, Seton Hall coach Kevin Willard will return four starters and will still be projected as an NCAA tournament team next season.
