Mahomes to Watkins for 60-yard score has Chiefs on verge of Super Bowl

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Sammy Watkins caught a 60-yard touchdown pass from Patrick Mahomes that put the Kansas City Chiefs ahead of the Tennessee Titans 35-17 and seemed to clinch their first Super Bowl berth in 50 years.

Watkins got open behind cornerback Logan Ryan to make the catch at the Tennessee 20 and he ran the rest of the way for the score.

It was the first touchdown for Watkins since he scored three in Week 1.

Mahomes now has eight touchdowns this postseason, tied for the most passing scores any player has thrown within his team's first two games of a single postseason (Peyton Manning, 2003).
