Lions activate Kenny Golladay off reserve/COVID-19 list

Detroit Lions wide receiver Kenny Golladay was activated from the reserve/COVID-19 list on Wednesday.

The move comes a day after quarterback Matthew Stafford was also moved from the same list to the active roster.

Golladay was one of the first Lions players to be placed on the list -- one of five Detroit players to be placed there last Wednesday. He is the first from that group to be activated.

The fourth-year receiver was a Pro Bowler last year and is entering a contract year. Lions general manager Bob Quinn declined to discuss any negotiations with Golladay when Quinn spoke with the media last week.

The Lions still have four players remaining on the reserve/COVID-19 list: tight end T.J. Hockenson, safety Jalen Elliott, cornerback Amani Oruwariye and punter Arryn Siposs.
