Denver Broncos wide receiver/returner Diontae Spencer was just activated from the COVID-19 reserve list on Thursday and Sunday made his own house call.
Spencer returned a punt 83 yards for a touchdown early in the first quarter of the Broncos game against the Carolina Panthers. The touchdown gave the Broncos a 7-0 lead.
It was the first career touchdown for Spencer, who has also missed games with a shoulder injury and a concussion this season, and the first Broncos punt return for a touchdown since 2015, when Omar Bolden retuned a punt 83 yards for a touchdown in Indianapolis.

This past week, Broncos special-teams coach Tom McMahon said Spencer's return could give the return game the spark it has needed.
"Punt return is my biggest concern,'' McMahon has said. "We've had five games where we went into those games really to fair catch the football without Spence. I'll just be upfront with you. We weren't trying to quote-unquote return. We were just making sure we caught the ball because of depth issues.''
