JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Jacksonville Jaguars cornerback Tyson Campbell suffered a left hamstring injury against Miami Sunday and could be out for several weeks.
Head coach Doug Pederson said Monday that Campbell would miss "some time." When asked if Campbell could be back by the time the team leaves for its two games in London on Oct. 13 and 20, Pederson said he didn't want to put a timetable on it.
"I'm not going to put any expectations on it," Pederson said. "We're just going to let him go week-to-week and see where he [is]."
Campbell, who signed a four-year, $76.5 million contract extension (with $53.4 million guaranteed) the day before training camp began, missed six games with a right hamstring injury last season.
Campbell has six interceptions, two forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries and 205 tackles in three-plus seasons with the Jaguars, who drafted him with the first pick of the second round in 2021.
